Road Justice Petition
Update on the Road Justice Petition– 20 May 2014
The Road Justice petition calling on the police to take a tougher approach to bad driving has obtained an incredible 12,531 signatures. After the petition was handed over to the Association of Chief Police Officers, 1,735 emails were sent to Police and Crime Commissioners urging them to support the campaign.
Over two thirds of police forces have now responded to the campaign, with 85% of them agreeing with some or all of our proposals to improve roads policing.
Several forces have voiced interest in engaging with cyclists in order to implement the proposals and a few have already met with local Road Justice campaigners.
The map shows the level of support shown by forces across England and Wales. Find out in detail how your local force has responded.
Thank you for your support.
